Tilted Barn Brewery
Tilted Barn Brewery is Rhode Island’s first farm brewery, tucked away in Exeter in a classic New England post-and-beam barn. Founded by Kara & Matt Richardson in 2014, it evolved from their commercial hop farm (Ocean State Hops) into a full craft brewery. Their beers lean hop-forward (IPAs, pale ales), often incorporating farm-grown ingredients like spruce tips or seasonal fruit. The new barn space includes a taproom overlooking their 30 bbl brewhouse and hosts food trucks, live music, and a relaxed “farm-to-pint” experience.
